A visit to Spain with Catfish Connections

Dear SPRO,

On my third return visit to Spain with Catfish Connections fishing on the River Ebro, i had an experience never to be forgotten using a SPRO 2 3/4LB HARDLINER rod and reel loaded with 18LB LINE.

previously fishing for carp and having alot of success with fish over 30LB plus i experienced a bite which stripped the line at an unstoppable rate nearly emptying the spool. With the rod bent double i summoned my fishing guide to launch the boat at double quick time as the line was down to its minimum on the spool. I know from experience a carp would not have taken line to that extent it had to be a big catfish. After an exhausting 45 minute battle i managed to overcome and land a monster 102LB catfish it was definitely the hardest fight i've ever had, everyone was amazed to what extent the rod and reel performed, having landed the catfish (photo included) i can honestly say it has been a pleasure to have fished with your equipment and catch a fish of a lifetime. I will be recommending your product to my fishing partners and will be ordering a set for myself.
